warm up 2/22/11

What was the hardest thing about working with sound and Power Point during your last project?  What do you wish you could do with sound that we haven’t done yet in this class?

The hardest part was making the powerpoints run the way I wanted them to. I counldnt seem to pull up the same powerpoint and run it the same everytime. I wish we could do one of those over dub things they do on comedy shows where they have a scene from an old tv or movie with exaggerated actions and multiple people comment or redo the script/

Charity Intrest- NORML

The organization I am intersested in creating a PSA about is NORML or The Organisation for the Reform of Marijuana Laws. This organitation is interesting to me beacause it is a revolution in the way people think about cannabis, and the way the people are thinking about change. NORLM is no different than people trying to abolish prohabition and I think should be respected.

Warm Up- 2/7/11

“Why is sound important in our lives?

Sound is important because without sound the world could not function in day to day activities. Sound is used for communicating from person to person, over the TV, throught the radio, and face-to-face. The world would be dependent on another source of communication besides sound.

“What are some projects in this class that could benefit from having sound added?”

Powerpoints and web presentations could utilize sound for better entertainment purposes. Sound would add another "dimention" to the peice of work.

“If you could listen to anything in the world, what would it be?”

If I could listen to anything in the world it would be all of my favorite bands playing at one concert.

If I could go anywhere

If I could go anywhere in the world I would probobly never come back. In which case its gonna have to be awesome...the best place I can think of would be the philipines, where I could just chill out and live however I wanted.
